I have experience of working in many Birmingham schools as an independent Family Support Worker. I provide a safe and supportive space for parents to offload their worries, with an empathic and non-judgemental approach.
Families may need practical, as well as emotional support, I am able to deliver both. Parents are often overwhelmed when I first meet them and don’t know where to turn. I help them to work through their challenges, so the impact is felt by the whole family. Supporting families to be the best they can be.

All sessions take place in school and during the school day, making support easily accessible for parents.
Parent feedback showed 100% of parents who accessed the service found the support helpful and said they would recommend it to other parents/carers.
