Counselling for mind, body and spirit
I’m Charlie, I am a qualified and accredited psychotherapist/counsellor based in Sutton Coldfield. Over the years my practice has evolved, and I now provide a private counselling service specifically for women, particularly women impacted by neurodiversity.
My integrative approach is trauma-informed and LGBTQIA+ affirmative. I offer bespoke therapy, tailored to each client and their needs. I have supported women for many years and bring a wealth of experience to the therapeutic interventions I provide.
Much of my work involves empowering women who struggle with anxiety, depression or low self-worth. I work with clients to help build their confidence and self-esteem, with empathy and acceptance. Sometimes, life gets too much and can feel out of control or overwhelming, I can help you untangle the chaos so you can see more clearly and make sense of where you are.
I can also help you identify challenges affecting your daily life, which may be connected to past events. Processing earlier experiences can help release pain, so the healing can start, enabling you to move forward.
A gentle way to support client’s wellbeing, dog therapy uses the bond with a trained dog to ease stress, strengthen communication and encourage positive emotional growth.
Bespoke counselling for students or staff in schools. Children are supported to improve confidence, resilience and wellbeing. Staff receive confidential therapy, to support their individual needs.
Independent support for parents and carers, offering a safe space to share worries and receive guidance with parenting, behaviour, mental health, SEND, finances, bereavement and more.
I offer face-to-face counselling sessions at Our Place Support, in Sutton Coldfield, North Birmingham.
In addition to in-person therapy, I provide online counselling across the West Midlands and throughout the UK, making support accessible wherever you are.
All private therapy sessions last 50 minutes and are £58 for online and £70 for face to face.
The initial assessment is the first session and always takes place online, all necessary paperwork will be emailed to you prior to the assessment.
I usually have daytime sessions available, evenings are limited however.
If you are interested in any of the school services, please see that section.
Online sessions require 24 hours notice for cancellations, I require for 48 hours notice for face to face cancellations.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or to arrange a free 20-minute consultation. This initial contact can help you decide if you are happy to go ahead with counselling and to move forward with an initial assessment. This is the first meeting where we will explore the reasons you are seeking support, whether counselling could be helpful to you, and whether I am the right therapist for you.
I offer counselling in Sutton Coldfield and the wider West Midlands, as well as online for clients throughout the UK.
You may also call me on 07544 751622, but this is a work number and can be unavailable when I am with clients. Email is the most direct way to contact me. All enquiries are usually answered within 24 hours.
